Linking South Australian Grower Groups
The Ag Excellence Alliance was formed in 2005 to improve working links between SA grower managed production groups. This network covers three thousand of South Australia's leading growers and industry members. The majority of funding received by the Ag Excellence Alliance has been through the NLP Community Support program.
Ag Ex objectives are to increase grower adoption of improved business, sustainable production and resource management techniques through:
Improved sharing of information and expertise across regions.
Increased collaboration between groups and regions.
Improved information delivery in regions with lower levels of service.
Key Ag Excellence Alliance outcomes are:
Bringing group leaders together at an annual forum to share ideas, experiences and discuss latest concepts and information.
Assistance and facilitation of emerging groups such as LEADA, the Lower Eyre Peninsula group and Mid North High Rainfall Group.
