Excellence Alliance Vision
To
increase the viability of group members through providing leadership and
effective linkages between SA production groups and key stakeholders.
Objectives
To
build the strength and sustainability of groups and industry.
To
add value to grower groups through co-ordination and support.
To
encourage integration of natural resource management with production.
To
influence key stakeholders to better address industry issues.
Grant
Aims: To assist sharing of information, experience
and resources across groups and regions. In
2007 Ag Ex is placing greater emphasis on increasing interaction between NRM,
Grower Groups and Young Growers. Where applicable please encourage the
involvement of other groups, NRM, young growers and partners in activities
supported by Ag Ex.
Grant
activities may address one or several of the following issues; Expertise to
regions, Increasing collaboration between groups and Extending information to
other regions.
Funds
are also available for:
Specific
events for young growers.
Assistance
for emerging groups.
To
increase grower involvement in Decision Support Workshops which will improve
whole farm analysis and farm business management practices.
A
brief report is required within one month of activities.
